Why Physics and Engineering?

Mentored by all Christian professors, students integrate academics to bring ideas to reality through a series of rigorous, open–design, engineering projects increasing in complexity from freshman to senior year. This culminates with a full and iterative design, prototype, and analysis Capstone Project addressing a real world need. These engineering–interdisciplinary Capstones have focused on 3D printing technology for Mars habitation, virtual reality, and more!

Preparing Graduates

To prepare its graduates for the workforce, the Physics and Engineering department hosts several external partners and industry friends for curriculum guided student research presentations. This not only assures Taylor is graduating in–demand engineers but has led to resume requests, internships, and employment opportunities for our students.

The Physics and Engineering department also has a lot to offer academically with all of its programs being accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
